Narrative for GPS tracking

At long last the final part of the Space section of my IDAT106 module is complete. For this section we were asked to investigate the hertzian space and map a frequency of our choosing, to draw a GPS image using a GPS tracker around the university, and then to document and produce a narrative for this. This post is to deliver the narrative that I have produced for the track which I made shown in the posts below. Below is the narrative I produced in the form of a video:

This narrative uses the images with the site and animates a line along them to show the path on which the GPS track was taken. On top of the pictures is the track being drawn as the viewer moves along the path. This allows for the viewer to better understand how the track was drawn as they can follow the path and see the drawing develop in sync with it. This imitates the production of the track when it was first produced, and therefore is providing the viewer with a narrative of its creation.

This concludes this section of the IDAT 106 module of my Digital Art and Technology course. The next section of this module is the Arch-OS section.
